Bushfire Recovery Community Grants Round One Now Closed

Thankyou for all applications we have received during 2020 and early 2021.

Round 1 applications closed on 31 January 2021. Round 2 will open on 1 March 2021.

Grants of up to $10,000 are available under the Commonwealth-funded ‘Supporting Communities in Recovery’ program to fund grassroots community-focused health and wellbeing initiatives.

Community spirit is vital to the resilience and recovery of towns and villages impacted by the recent bushfires and to the emotional healing of individual community members.

Healthy North Coast invites local organisations in bushfire-affected communities to apply for funding for community gatherings and activities. These activities will aim to strengthen social connectedness and emotional wellbeing, as well as assist communities to recover and heal from the recent bushfires.

Round 2 applications are due to open soon.

Applicants are encouraged to contact Healthy North Coast prior to submitting an application. For further information please call the Community Grants Team on 02 6659 1800 or get in touch with your local Primary Health Coordinator or Aboriginal Health Coordinator.

Healthy North Coast would like to acknowledge Coordinaire/South Eastern NSW PHN for sharing their bushfire grant resources in the development of these guidelines.
